Privacy policy

The short version: the product runs on your machine and your cloud data never reaches us. The website uses analytics, billing uses Stripe, and license emails use your email address. That is nearly the whole story; the details follow.

What we never collect

Your cloud credentials, your cost data, your resource names and your account ids stay on your machine. nable has no backend that could receive them. This is an architecture property, not a policy promise.

What the product collects (telemetry)

Anonymous usage telemetry: a random install id, the names of tools invoked, counts, product version and plan tier. It exists so we know which features matter. Opt out any time with NABLE_NO_TELEMETRY=1, or set FINOPS_AIRGAP=1 to disable all non-provider traffic. CI systems are excluded automatically. Telemetry is processed by PostHog (US).

What the website collects

getnable.com uses PostHog analytics (page views, referrers, anonymized interactions) to understand what brings people here. IP addresses are not stored with product telemetry events.

What we collect when you buy or sign in

Processors

Stripe (billing), Resend (transactional email), PostHog (analytics), Vercel (website hosting), GitHub (source hosting). The product itself, running on your machine, uses none of these.

Retention and deletion

Email and billing records persist while you have an account or subscription. To delete your data, email hello@getnable.com and we will remove what the processors hold within 30 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting.

What we do not do

No selling of data, no advertising networks, no cross-site tracking, no enrichment of your profile from third parties.

Changes and contact

Material changes to this policy will be noted on this page with a new date. Questions: hello@getnable.com.
